History of the label:

The label of KERAMOS wines is inspired from the ancient Greek history and depicts the meeting of Alexander the Great and the cynic philosopher Diogenes. The philosophy of Diogenes was “Less is more” and, for this reason he lived in an amphora instead of a house. For the Cynics and for us, the purpose of life is to live in virtue, in agreement with nature.

Tasting notes:

 Bright orange color with golden highlights. Rich, intense nose, with all natural flavours evolving in mouth. Fresh wine, easy drinkable, low on alcohol and round taste. The aromas of orange and citrus blend with an elegant minerality. High acidity and long aftertaste.

Winemaking report:

The whole bunches of the grapes of each variety ferment separately in small amphoras  (controlled fermentation temperature 18º- 21º C) with indigenous yeasts, no oenological substances added.  Spontaneous malolactic fermentation. Skin maceration for 30 days and after the grapes are pressed. The produced wine is put once again into the amphoras for 9 months. No protein or tartaric stabilization.

Aging potential:

Aging potential  up to 5 years. Bottled with a natural cork closure, in order to ensure a unique aging capacity. Ideal serving temperature between 12-16ο C.

Food matches:

The wine matches perfectly with shellfish and vegetarian dishes.
